Alexis R. Lovings

Alexis R. Lovings is an Associate at Armstrong, Donohue, Ceppos, Vaughan & Rhoades, Chtd. Ms. Lovings joined Armstrong, Donohue, Ceppos, Vaughan & Rhoades as an associate in September 2025. Prior to joining ADCV&R, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable LaKeecia R. Allen of the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County and a judicial extern for the Honorable Douglas R.M. Nazarian of the Appellate Court of Maryland. Additionally, she has prior experience advising clients and in house counsel on various matters including healthcare decision making, guardianships, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, legislative initiatives, and labor and employment law.

Ms. Lovings graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Florida in 2017, and received her J.D. from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in 2023, with a Certificate in Health Law. While in law school, Ms. Lovings was very involved in the Maryland Carey Law community. She was President of the Black Law Students Association, a member of the Thurgood Marshall Trial Team, a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, a Rose Zetzer Fellow, and a research assistant to Professor Larry Gibson and Professor Matiangai Sirleaf. Upon graduating, she was awarded the William P. Cunningham Award for exceptional achievement and service to the law school.
