ADCVR attorneys, Ken Armstrong and Erica Mudd, recently obtained a defense verdict in a medical negligence and informed consent case in the Circuit Court for Frederick County, Maryland. The Plaintiff alleged that a vascular surgeon breached applicable standards of care in connection with a venous stenting procedure. The Plaintiff also alleged that the vascular surgeon failed to obtain proper informed consent for the procedure. After a two week jury trial, a defense verdict was rendered. The jury found that the physician complied with applicable standards of care and obtained a proper informed consent from the patient.
