ADCVR attorney, Andrew Marter, recently obtained a defense verdict on behalf of a podiatric surgeon in a case alleging medical malpractice. The case was filed in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, Maryland. The plaintiff alleged permanent pain and deformity to her foot and toes following surgery performed by the defendant surgeon. Following a three day jury trial, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the surgeon. The jury concluded that the surgeon complied with applicable standards of care and provided appropriate evaluation of and treatment to the patient.
