ADCV&R’s Response to Coronavirus/COVID-19

ADCV&R is working to protect the health and safety of our employees and clients, and to do our part in helping to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

Effective March 17, 2020, all our employees began working remotely.  In anticipation of this day, we established remote working capabilities that permit our attorneys and staff to continue to provide our high level of legal services that our clients have come to expect.  Please do not hesitate to call or email us.  A list of our attorneys and staffs’ email addresses and phone numbers is provided on the Contact Us page on our website.

From March 17, 2020 until June 7, 2020, our physical office at 204 Monroe Street was completely closed, and we worked entirely in a remote environment.  Beginning on June 8, 2020, we have re-opened our office on a limited basis.  Currently, we are limited to employees only, with reduced staff, while our remaining staff continues to work remotely.  ADCV&R is taking additional measures to clean and sanitize our offices.  We are being diligent and mindful of any changes as they occur and we will work hard to find solutions to providing the legal services you need while maintaining a healthy and safe environment for our clients, employees, and visitors alike.

We have advised our staff to watch for symptoms of sickness and signs of coronavirus.  If a staff member is sick or symptomatic, we have advised them to stay home and limit close contact with others.  We suggest that anyone who plans to visit our office do the same. Symptoms of coronavirus include, but are not limited to: fever or elevated temperature, chills, fatigue, muscle pain, headache, loss of smell or taste, cough, shortness of breath, conjunctivitis, sore throat, gastrointestinal disorders (diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, upset stomach), swollen or red feet or legs, chest pain or pressure, bluish lips or face, and other symptoms which may be identified on the CDC’s website.

We are using cleaning solutions and disinfecting wipes to clean public surfaces frequently. We are encouraging staff to clean workspaces frequently and to properly wash hands throughout the day.

We are encouraging clients to use telephone, email or video conference contacts as an alternative to in person meetings for the next few weeks.  We can facilitate secure virtual meetings through GoToMeeting, Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams, and BlueJeans.  We will continue to work with our local Courts as they begin re-opening operations here in Montgomery County on June 8, 2020 and throughout the DMV region.

We will continue to provide full client services and legal representation.  We have state of the art, secure technology to maintain our law firm operations.

At ADCV&R, we will continue to keep a close watch on the evolving situation and the guidance provided by the World Health Organization, U.S. Centers for Disease Control, and state and local governments. We are committed to helping our clients with exceptional legal representation as we have for over 33 years.
