In 1987, Larry joined with Ken Armstrong, Pat Donohue and Ben Vaughan to found their current firm.   Since that time, Larry and his partners have represented health care institutions and individual health care professionals in professional liability cases in District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia for a quarter of a century.  He has defended numerous cases in state and federal courts, and has handled matters before provider licensing boards in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Larry is honored to be a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, an invitation-only national organization of the top 1% trial lawyers in the U.S. and Canada.  Larry is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and he is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell.   He has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers®, a peer based pole, annually in Washingtonian magazine and in Baltimore magazine as a “Top Lawyer.”  Larry has been rated as one of the Top 100 lawyers in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, and he is listed in Best Lawyers in America.   He has lectured locally and nationally on a host of issues concerning medical malpractice litigation, including documentation and witness preparation for deposition and trial.    Larry has also served the Bar Association of Montgomery County as a member of the Executive Committee, Ethics Committee, and two terms as chairman of the Judicial Selections panel.
