H. Patrick “Pat” Donohue was a founding partner of Armstrong, Donohue, Ceppos, Vaughan & Rhoades, Chartered.
Pat was born in Springfield, OH. He was a graduate of Bowling Green University (1972), and a graduate of Catholic University Law School (1977).
Pat’s pre-law experience included skills honed as a “Nader’s Raider” and consumer protection investigator. Following his admission to the bar, Pat was an associate attorney and then partner at Donahue and Ehrmantraut from 1977 through 1987.
In 1987, Pat co-founded the law firm now known as Armstrong, Donohue, Ceppos, Vaughan and Rhoades, where he maintained a broad legal practice including construction, products liability, insurance, and personal injury matters. Pat retired in May of 2017. Following his retirement, he became President of the Gaithersburg Community Soup Kitchen until his illness in 2023.
Pat passed away on July 16, 2024 at the age of 73.
