Giovanna Miller is an Associate with Armstrong, Donohue, Ceppos, Vaughan & Rhoades. While her practice focuses on defending hospitals and health care providers in complex medical malpractice cases, Ms. Miller also handles a variety of other matters to include criminal defense and personal injury. 

Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Miller served as an Assistant Public Defender in Anne Arundel County, Maryland where she passionately represented thousands of clients, and quickly earned the reputation of being a compassionate, skilled and zealous advocate. Before joining the Office of the Public Defender, Ms. Miller was an Assistant State’s Attorney in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Ms. Miller has a wealth of trial experience and has handled an array of criminal matters to include violent offenses, weapons offenses, narcotics offenses, child abuse, sex offenses, property crimes and serious motor vehicle violations. 

Ms. Miller graduated cum laude from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and clerked for The Honorable Nicholas E. Rattal of the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County, Maryland. 

 In her spare time, Ms. Miller enjoys traveling, reading, and attending festivals.
