Coming from a family of health care providers, Mr. Marter brings a personal sense of understanding and insight to his heathcare clients: father, general surgeon; mother, nurse; wife, radiation therapy dosimetrist; brother, obstetrician/gynecologist; uncles, orthopedic surgeon and radiologist. Mr. Marter has tried dozens of malpractice and personal injury cases in his 25+ year career.  Mr. Marter practices in the state and federal courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia.  Mr. Marter defends physicians, nurses, hospitals, and other healthcare providers against claims of medical negligence, and he represents providers in licensing matters before the Board of Physicians, Nursing Board, and other professional boards.  Mr. Marter also represents clients injured in motorcycle, motor vehicle, and trucking accidents.
