Alexandra Adkins is an Associate with Armstrong, Donohue, Ceppos, Vaughan & Rhoades. Her practice focuses on defending hospitals, physicians, and other health care providers in complex medical malpractice cases. Ms. Adkins also handles a variety of other matters including personal injury claims, appeals, and criminal defense.
Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Adkins served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Marcus Z. Shar of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. During law school, Ms. Adkins clerked for an appellate litigation firm where she assisted in over 100 criminal and civil appeals and post-verdict litigation matters in both state and federal court, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the Court of Appeals of Maryland, and the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland.
