Ken Armstrong Obtains a Defense Verdict in Montgomery County

ADCVR attorney, Ken Armstrong, recently obtained a defense verdict in a medical malpractice case in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland. The plaintiffs alleged wrongful death for failure to diagnose a myocardial infarction and failure to order timely cardiac catheterization. Following a ten day jury trial, the jury found that Ken’s client, a cardiologist, complied with applicable standards of care, and judgment was entered in favor of the cardiologist.

ADCVR attorney, Andrew Marter, recently obtained a defense verdict on behalf of a podiatric surgeon in a case alleging medical malpractice. The case was filed in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, Maryland. The plaintiff alleged permanent pain and deformity to her foot and toes following surgery performed by the defendant surgeon. ADCVR attorneys, Ken Armstrong and Jeremy Krum, recently obtained a defense verdict in a medical malpractice case in the Circuit Court for Howard County, Maryland. The plaintiff alleged a permanent phrenic nerve injury following an interscalene brachial plexus block. ADCVR attorneys Ken Armstrong, Rob Maynard, and Kelly Hibbert obtained a decision from the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in favor of multiple health care providers in an appeal from a decision of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. The lower Court entered judgment on behalf of the defendant health care providers. The United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit affirmed the lower court's decision.

Attorney Rob Maynard obtained a directed verdict in favor of an anesthesiologist in Prince George's County Circuit Court. Plaintiff alleged that the physician had performed unnecessary sacroiliac injections that led to the patient developing sacroiliitis.
