Ken Armstrong Obtains a Defense Verdict in Montgomery County

ADCVR attorney, Ken Armstrong, recently obtained a defense verdict in a medical malpractice case in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland. The plaintiffs alleged wrongful death for failure to diagnose a myocardial infarction and failure to order timely cardiac catheterization. Following a ten day jury trial, the jury found that Ken’s client, a cardiologist, complied with applicable standards of care, and judgment was entered in favor of the cardiologist. Read More

Ken Armstrong and Erica Mudd Obtain a Defense Verdict in Frederick County

ADCVR attorneys, Ken Armstrong and Erica Mudd, recently obtained a defense verdict in a medical negligence and informed consent case in the Circuit Court for Frederick County, Maryland. The Plaintiff alleged that a vascular surgeon breached applicable standards of care in connection with a venous stenting procedure. The Plaintiff also alleged that the vascular surgeon failed to obtain proper informed consent for the procedure. After a two week jury trial, a defense verdict was rendered.

ADCVR attorneys, Erica Mudd and Benjamin Laufer, secured dismissal of an action on behalf of a corporate defendant in a medical negligence case pending in the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County, Maryland. ADCVR attorney, Benjamin Laufer, secured SUMMARY JUDGMENT in favor of a corporate defendant in a premises liabilty action pending in the Superior Court for the District of Columbia. The plaintiff alleged that she fell on a slippery substance that had been placed on the ground. However, the plaintiff failed to produce any sufficient evidence that the defendant had notice of a dangerous condition. The Court agreed and granted the defendant’s motion for summary judgment.
