ADCVR attorney, Alex Adkins, recently obtained a defense verdict in a veterinary medical negligence case in the District Court for Harford County, Maryland. The Plaintiff alleged that the veterinarian did not render appropriate care to a patient in respiratory distress. After a one day bench trial, the Court rendered a verdict in favor of the veterinarian, finding that the plaintiff failed to prove that the veterinarian breached applicable standards of care.
