Professional Experience
Mr. Donohue is an Ohio
native, a 1972 grad of Bowling Green State University, and obtained his
J.D. from The Columbus School of Law at Catholic University in 1977.
During his first 10
years of practice, he worked to develop civil litigation skills at
Donahue, Ehrmantraut & Montedonico, which became the county’s largest
insurance defense firm in the mid-‘80’s. Mr. Donohue had the good fortune to
work closely with several talented litigators, including Edward Donahue
and the three co-founding principals in Armstrong, Donohue, Ceppos &
Vaughan, Chartered.
Mr. Donohue’s pre-law
employment included positions as a Western Union deliveryman, newspaper
boy, mailman, restaurant worker, cafeteria manager, Nader “raider”, and
consumer protection investigator. He has always enjoyed jobs that permit
contacts with a wide variety of interesting people.
Armstrong, Donohue,
Ceppos and Vaughan’s practice areas consistently offer that opportunity,
in contexts that require focused insights, clear communication skills
and flexible approaches to problem solving. Their attorneys’
capabilities and diverse backgrounds provide a solid bases for
successful resolutions of a wide range of challenging cases. The steady
demands of a litigation practice can be stressful, but the sense of
accomplishment from assisting clients with difficult issues is very
rewarding. Without a doubt, Mr. Donohue knows it beats delivering
telegrams.
