H. Kenneth Armstrong

Professional Experience
Mr. Armstrong formed
the law practice of Armstrong, Donohue, Ceppos and Vaughan in May of
1987. As Senior Partner, a significant portion of his practice involves
the trial of complex civil matters, including medical and professional
malpractice. Mr. Armstrong also practices in the areas of general
business and civil litigation.
Born in 1955, Mr.
Armstrong grew up in Bethesda, MD graduating with honors in History from
Clark University. He received his J.D. degree from American University,
Washington College of Law graduating in the top 25% of the class. Prior
to starting the firm, Mr. Armstrong was both an Associate and Partner at
the firm of Donahue, Ehrmantraut & Montedonico specializing in insurance
defense practice for physicians, hospitals, and insurance carriers.
Mr. Armstrong has been
recognized within the field of Trial Lawyers by being elected as Fellow
of the American College of Trial Lawyers, serving as the Maryland State
Chair from 2002-2004. Mr. Armstrong has been listed in Best Lawyers in
America from 1997 to present as well as Who’s Who in American Law, 1994
to present, and Who’s Who Among Outstanding Americans, 1995 to present.
He has been elected as a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial
Lawyers.
Mr. Armstrong has
regularly been asked to serve on panels, demonstrate in mock trials,
lecture and present seminars as an expert in the areas of professional
and general liability claims, litigation and claims management, risk
management in medical malpractice and changes in medical malpractice
law, to name a few.
