J. Eric Rhoades

Experience
Mr. Rhoades’ practice
concentration is the defense of health care providers and institutions
in medical malpractice actions. His clients include physicians, nurses,
dentists and allied health professionals as well as institutions ranging
from large, teaching hospitals to smaller, community hospitals. Mr.
Rhoades also represents HMO clients.
Mr. Rhoades’ medical
background provides an excellent foundation for his representation of
health professionals. He has worked with a surgical research team at
the National Institutes of Health, specifically in the area of cardiac
research, where he served as a surgical assistant as well as a
cardiopulmonary bypass technician. After leaving NIH, Mr. Rhoades
served as an organ recovery coordinator with the Washington Regional
Transplant Consortium where he supervised the recovery of organs for
transplant.
In addition to his
practice representing health care professionals, Mr. Rhoades also
represents individuals and corporations in general civil litigation
matters, including suits for personal injury.
